Good Morning, Johnsburg!

The morning mist is lifting off our Adirondack pines, and June has finally arrived with a crisp, refreshing breeze. While we’re starting the day at a cool 44°F, we are looking forward to a beautiful high of 65°F as the sun breaks through! We are so happy to welcome you to a brand new month of stories, community, and fresh mountain air.

Happening Today: Closed for Quiet Prep

While the library building is closed on Mondays, our digital doors are always open! Today, naturalist John Muir published his very first wilderness essay on Yosemite back in 1872. Get inspired to explore our beautiful Adirondack backyard on this cool afternoon by downloading a nature memoir or regional guide on Libby!
