Bake for Good

The Town of Johnsburg Library is pleased to present King Arthur Baking Company’s Bake for Good for kids in grades 4-8

The Bake for Good program from King Arthur Baking Company teaches kids in grades 4-8 how to bake bread from scratch. We have three goals: learnbake, and share. Participants learn the math and science of making bread from scratch. With supplies from King Arthur, they bake the bread recipe and make 2 loaves of bread, one to keep and one to share with someone in need or as an act of kindness.

This program is a 45 minute live Zoom class on Tuesday, November 2 at 4 p.m.  It is demonstration only, participants do NOT bake along. Participants will bake their loaves at a later time when it is convenient for them. Baking kits will be picked up from the library. *This class is an online class and will not take place in the library.

Registration Deadline: October 20th

To register for the program, stop by the Town of Johnsburg Library, call the Library at 518-251-4343, or email us at kerwin@sals.edu
